Fraps has been taking some quick development steps over the weekend, as it advanced two builds, from 3.5.0 to 3.5.2. The latest does not add any new features, only fixes, thus increasing the stability of the application.

The repairs between the two versions tackle issues such as Fraps crashing when large custom resolutions used in game as well as during video mode switch in DosBox.

On the same note, audio should no longer be missing at the end of long recordings and you should no longer experience screen freezing when starting video capture in Minecraft or other OpenGL games.

Another hurdle in using Fraps was the impossibility to play recorded movies in Windows Media Player. Starting version 3.5.1 Fraps is capable to write movies larger than 4GB on exFAT drives as well.
