Google rolled out build 22.0.1229.52 for Chrome beta. It is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms and integrates fixes addressing performance and stability issues.

The current revision contains a fix for Gaia frame not reloading after changing the proxy settings.

A significant performance issue has been eliminated on Mac OS X systems. When turning off AirPort high CPU usage would be recorded, caused by Chrome processes, particularly Helper. Reports informed that killing Chrome processes causing the CPU stress would not work because they would restart.

On the Windows 8 version of the browser stylus events were ignored on account that the operation would receive touch events. The current revision fixes this and distinguishes between stylus and touch input.
