Google is currently working on three different versions of the Chrome browser, namely the stable one that’s recommended to all users, the beta and the developer, both of which are supposed to be deployed by more experienced consumers.

The company rolled out a new version of the developer build today, thus trying to fix a number of bugs spotted in the previous releases.

As a result, the Dev Channel has been updated to 31.0.1622.0 for Mac and Linux, and 31.0.1612.7 for Windows and Chrome Frame, so users currently running this pre-release version of Chrome should get the update as soon as possible.

As far as Windows is concerned, the new Chrome 31 should work fine on all versions, including the new Windows 8 modern OS.
