Repairs relate to several UI and stability issues

Mozilla is not the only one today to deliver a new build for their web browser. Google also incremented the version number for the beta channel, refreshing the build to 17.0.963.46.

Although the release notes are more than sparing in details, mentioning only fixes for a bunch of stability and UI issues, the modification list is pretty interesting.

One notable change is retracting the ability to create profile shortcuts for branch 17 of the browser. The reason behind this decision is that Google Chrome would create a shortcut for the first user upon launch, if all profile shortcuts had been previously deleted.

Another fixed issue is Linux-related and refers to the malicious download warning, which would appear truncated, instead of showing up on one line.

Repairs also refer to some clients of the utility process that had a race condition leading to browser crash if the utility process crashed.
