14 DAY TRIAL // The latest build for Google Chrome beta, 18.0.1025.39, is now available for download for all supported platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome Frame). It features big fixes for Mac and Windows as well as an updated JavaScript engine (V8 3.8.9.8).
The current release deals with several crashes and repairs the problem with Firefox in "Import Bookmarks and Settings" drop-down menu. Also, it solves an issue with synchronization of the sessions on a different device, and now all tabs should sync properly.
Windows-related fixes refer to missing “Recently Closed” menu after restarting the browser, garbled text on the SSL chip, as the charsets aren’t converted properly.
On Mac systems the most notable fix is for hanging of the web browser on dual-GPU NVIDIA/Intel MacBook Pro devices.
