The beta channel for Google Chrome has been updated to build 18.0.1025.58. There aren’t too many entries in the change list and some of them refer to the functions that have been disabled in the previous update.

Google Chrome Beta 18.0.1025.58 reinstates GPU acceleration of the Canvas 2D, which in the previous build was off by default and could be turned on from the “about:flags” configuration panel. Also, the image transport surface on Windows Vista and 7 has been re-enabled.

However, there are some additional modifications, such as disabling the page pre-render function that are currently new in this release.

Fixes are on the list as well, although details are scanty. In this revision the developer announced only that they fixed a race condition in audio.
