The latest Google Chrome Dev comes in two builds, one for Windows and Chrome Frame (18.0.1010.1) and one for Mac and Linux (18.0.1010.0). However, they both benefit from a common set of modifications.

One of the changes available in the latest release of the browser, available on all supported platforms, refers to the PDF plugin, which now has two new commands to show off: ‘Rotate Clockwise’ and ‘Rotate Counterclockwise’. These should allow a better view of the documents scanned horizontally.

Also available for all platforms is an update of the first-run bubble text, which used to read "Search using Google from right here." The new string shows "You can search from here with Google!" and is accompanied by the possibility to change the current search engine.

Mac-related trouble has also been fixed and Cmd+W should no longer close the whole window when in full-screen mode.
