Chrome finally made the move to version 21, with the release of the latest dev build. The new revision, 21.0.1145.0, is available for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.

First on the list of changes is the updated JavaScript engine to version 3.11.3.0, which disables optimization for functions that have scopes that cannot be reconstructed from the context chain.

Since no new features have been introduced, the main modifications in the browser are fixes designed to improve its stability and performance. Among these, there is allowing certain unused renderer processes to exit before the tab is closed. As for bug fixing, the new revision can auto-fill passwords in Incognito windows.

You won’t be able to edit a name or select a subfolder from the drop-down menu of the bookmark bubble. But this issue is known to the developer and the team is working for a fix.
