Google has updated the Dev channel for its browser to build 22.0.1221.0 recently. It is not an unexpected release, as it has been marked in the Chrome progress calendar. However, at the moment, it is available for Windows and Mac platforms only.

The new revision is a small one and does not feature too many significant modifications, as the most important of them is the updated JavaScript engine to build 3.12.16.0. The new V8 is not rich in changes either, unspecific performance and stability improvements on all platforms being the only line in the changelog.

Last week, Google released an update for the beta channel, which fixed the issue with YouTube drag and drop action for upload not working.
