Handy Start Menu is one of the apps that promise to help out beginners trying to get used to Windows 8, bringing back the traditional Start Menu on the revamped OS version.

Version 1.91 is now available for download and comes with some important bug fixes on Windows 8 computers.

According to the official release notes, Handy Start Menu 1.91 is mostly focused on addressing some issues spotted in older builds, including a bug causing the “Open the Start screen” command to work incorrectly on Windows 8.

Otherwise, the app has the same feature package, offering support for both 32- and 64-bit versions of Microsoft’s new Windows 8. What’s more, even though no dedicated support for Windows 8.1 is being offered, Handy Start Menu works quite fine on this particular release.
