Both the free (ad-supported) and the paid versions of Hotspot Shield have been updated to build 3.0.9.
AnchorFree, the developer of the product, did not introduce game-changing features in Hotspot Shiled, but improved the learning curve for beginner users by including an interactive feature tool after the completion of the installation process.
According to the developer, also implemented in this revision are stability improvements and multiple bug fixes; however, no specifics have been released.
On Windows, HOTSPOT SHIELD Elite is available for $29.95 / 25.24 EUR for one year. The application offers encrypted and private communication through public Wi-Fi spots by redirecting the traffic through the developer’s own servers.
An older version of the program has been reviewed by Softpedia and you can check it out at this address.
