Opera 12.02 is intended as a stability update before 12.50 arrives

Now that the Opera has decided to put out Opera 12.02, there's no stopping the snapshots. The latest experimental build, intended as always for hardcore Opera fans, is, surprising no one, a bug fixing release. Yes, a bug fixing release – the snapshot, for a bug fixing release – the final Opera 12.02, Inception had nothing on Opera.

Opera says that the fix implemented in the first 12.02 snapshot, aimed at fixing issues with out of process plugins, is working as intended so this newer snapshot only fixes a few crashes and addresses several other lingering issues, such as fixes for local content, bookmarks, speed dial.

There's also a fix for Mozilla's pdf.js library, which implements a full-blown PDF reader in JavaScript. Note that the 12.02 snapshots are not Opera Next releases and will replace the stable version if you have it installed.
