Microsoft revealed plenty of details about the upcoming Windows 8.1 last week, but the company is secretly working on some new features as well.

A screenshot that’s allegedly coming from Windows 8.1 build 9418 reveals a brand new settings transfer option that could be bundled into the next Windows release.

As you could easily figure out from this photo, the new feature would basically allow users to transfer the settings of a Windows 8.1 device to another computer running the operating system using only their SkyDrive account.

In other words, you can easily save all your settings in a SkyDrive account and then import them back on a new Windows 8.1 computer using this particular option.

Of course, more details are supposed to be unveiled later this month, as the public preview of the OS will go live at BUILD on June 26.
