Windows 8.1 Update 1 is supposed to make the modern operating system a lot better for users of desktop computers still sticking to a traditional mouse and keyboard combo, so it’s no surprise that several improvements in this regard have been spotted in leaked builds.

In addition to options to pin Metro apps to taskbar and a new title bar for Modern tools, Microsoft has also added a link to the original Control Panel in the PC settings screen of the Metro UI.

This means that in case you launch PC settings with a mouse and keyboard, you can instantly switch to the desktop version of Control Panel that groups all options regarding your computer.

Of course, more improvements in this regard are very likely to make way to Windows 8.1 Update 1 before the public debut, which according to people close to the matter should take place in April.
