It is bit-by-bit identical with release candidate 2

The stable version for LibreOffice 3.6.2 has just been rolled out. As it usually happens, the final build is exactly the same as the last release candidate.

As such, if you already have RC2 on the system, you don’t need to re-install LibreOffice because the last RC and the stable version are bit-by-bit identical.

In the case of Windows users running an earlier release of LibreOffice than 3.4.5, upgrading to 3.6.2 requires clean installation or the upgrade may fail. The same procedure applies for those with OpenOffice on the system, in order to avoid confusion with file association.

For Linux users, the developer recommends using OpenJDK instead of GCJ Java variant because the latter generates conflicts with LibreOffice.
