Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 3.5 focuses on extending camera raw support and lens profile support as well as on addressing issues present in previous versions.

The list of supported cameras now has more than 20 models, from 10 manufactures, which include Sony, Phase One and Leaf , its subsidiary, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Fuji, Nikon and Hasselblad.

However, correcting previous bugs seems to have been a priority in this release, since the bugs addressed cover many performance issues. The changes improve the efficiency of preview cache, better handling of GPS Altitude metadata with files converted to DNG or exported as DNG.

With the previous edition, Lightroom 3.4, saving metadata to a JPEG could at times cause the application to crash; this has been eliminated in this release. For a list of the bugs squashed please visit this page.
