It did not take long for Malwarebytes to launch the stable for version 1.62. The new release contains one new feature that should reduce the bandwidth and cut down the time necessary for upgrading.

Most of the modifications are improvements, but there are also a couple of repairs, the most significant referring to a bug that affected the scheduled scans. The other addresses the problem with incorrect display of the Korean language in the drop-down menu.

Enhancements available touch very little on protection and focus more on improving the user experience and the amount of details the application can offer.

As such, Chameleon technology has been tweaked to handle more threats, the installation wizard has more information and guidance, the database update module has been streamlined and the logs will show more details as drives and scanned paths are included.
