The stable version for Maxthon 3 browser popped out after only three betas. It comes with several improvements and fixes, an updated Webkit core and shows no new features.

Maxthon 3.3.4.2000 improves memory usage in Ultra Mode, increases the startup speed and brings to the table a better extension platform.

As for the fixes, drag and drop function now allows you to open URL files and move the browser window. Also, icons in the side bar should load correctly in this build.

Webkit-related issues fixed in this release include crashes and browser freezes as well as items being still highlighted after closing the “Find in Page” dialog. On the same note, the spell-checker would have problems with extra spaces. Downloading has also been fixed, as the process would start with a delay.
