14 DAY TRIAL // With love floating all around, Maxthon did not miss the opportunity to release a new version of their browser today. The new build is 3.3.4.3000 and apart from sporting a new, special Valentine’s Day skin, it also brings to the table improvements and fixes.
The latest build comes with a better extension platform, lower memory usage and improved support to the search attributes of HTML5 search box.
Repairs in this release touch on the main frame, the Webkit core and the extension platform. As such, pressing the F keys should no longer open up a new tab and right clicking to refresh background tabs should not refresh the currently open one.
In the case of Webkit, the developer eliminated some crashes, solved one memory leak problem and fixed the Night mode to work well for all tabs. The full list of changes is available here.
