Brings to the table improved support for HTML5 Canvas

After the special Valentine’s Day build unveiled two days ago, Maxthon released today build 3.3.4.4000 of their web browser. It increases support for HTML5 Canvas and IndexedDB. Bug fixes are also present, and so are improvements, which touch on problems with Webkit core and the main frame.

The current revision takes care of issues causing crashes, as well as a resource leak produced by the GDI project. On the same note, the web browser would freeze upon scrolling on a page.

Data would be lost upon restarting the web browser because IndexedDB was not able to make a permanent record of it. Webkit can now handle the “Cut the Rope” game (careful, it is addictive).

Maxthon is available for download from this page. The application is also available as a portable download on this page.
