Maxthon browser seems to have picked up the pace as the latest release, 3.3.4.600 beta, brings to the table several important improvements. It touches on important components, such as Main Frame, Webkit core, Trident core, AdHunter and form-filling feature, Magic Fill.

Memory usage is only one of them, but the application also improves support for jQuery and updates Thunder Downloader module as well as the user interface (address bar and side bar included). Better support for Webkit extensions is also on the list.

The current release solves some page compatibility problems (Webkit) and eliminates the error pop up when right-clicking on some images (Trident).

Magic Fill fixes address issues such as deleting the password when clicking the drop-down menu of password box. Also, it could not remember the last used password on websites with several accounts.
