A new stable build is currently available for Maxthon. Among the chief modifications there is fixing of some bugs that were present in the previous two beta revisions.

Along with incrementing the version number to 3.3.9.1000, the new release does away with problems such as incorrect display of some Chinese characters, inability to delete the data in Address Bar drop-down menu or failure to create Canvas.

The set of enhancements extend to improved support for Magic Fill on some websites and the extension interface calls.

The problem with accidentally blocking the Gmail pop-up windows is also fixed, just like the crashes caused by unqualified extensions.

Maxthon Browser can be downloaded from this page; it is also available as a portable download, for those that need to carry the web browser on a removable storage device.
