Maxthon has rolled out a fresh update, this time moving into a new beta stage of development with build 4.1.3.1200. It introduces support for multi-threaded downloads, which means less wait times on download tasks.

The other new feature available in this revision is tab animation effect. This does not improve the functionality of the browser, but it does improve the general user experience with the application.

The developer informs that the video popup feature has been enhanced in Retro mode, as well as the efficiency of the magic Fill drop-down menu display.

Maxthon 4.1.3.1200 beta also integrates repairs touching on the main frame, WebKit and IE cores.

Users should notice that clicking on some search suggestions is no longer invalid and that the sidebar panel is now displayed as it should.

In the case of WebKit core, there should no longer be problems after drag and drop of some magnet URLs and the issue with Super Drag and Drop function on some websites has been eliminated.
