The stable build for Maxthon 3 has rolled out. Among the most notable changes, there is an updated WebKit core and enhanced support for HTML5. But other important modifications have also been operated.

In the beta version of the browser, there were some crash problems with the WebKit core and it could not retrieve the file list when opening an FTP page. There was also the issue of high CPU usage when specific PAC (proxy auto-configuration) script would be executed.

There are improvements such as context menu support for third party content in Ultra Mode. Third party downloaders are also included on the list of supported components.

Mending action in the browser refers to problems upon closing Maxthon on Windows XP and the impossibility to select bookmarks (favorites) in the Side Bar.
