14 DAY TRIAL // The recent Maxthon update for the stable version 4.0.6 brings to the table a hefty set of new features, some of them tried and tested by the beta users for some time. Repairs are also included.
Local Transfer in Cloud Push is among the most significant of the new capabilities available in the application.
The feature allows users to send files to different devices using the local connection instead of routing them through remote servers; at the moment it works with Android and Windows devices.
Additional features present in this release are search capability in the configuration panel, New Settings and Maxthon Skin.
The list of repairs is quite short, with only three entries, but announces fixes for notable stability issues. The developer eliminated two crash bugs that were triggered by Java extensions and “Inspect Element” option.
Also fixed is the problem with menu display in Developer Tools section of the browser.
