Today, a new stable build has been released for Maxthon Browser. It incorporates all the new features and fixes introduced in the previous beta revisions.

This means that users will enjoy a snappier browser thanks to hardware acceleration in Ultra Mode. Starting this revision, Retro Mode sports features such as URL ad-blocking, a pop-up blocking mechanism as well as Magic Fill capability.

On many users’ wishlist for some time, global filtering rules are now available; they can be created by users and shared without restriction.

Maxthon Cloud Browser 4.1.0.2000 brings to the table the possibility to customize the shortcut for muting the pages playing media content.

The repairs added in this stable release refer to WebKit issues, such as some pages not being displayed correctly or pop-ups being blocked by mistake. Also, the stability of WebKit Core has been improved and users should no longer have problems with viewing tags.

Maxthon Browser is available for download from this link; it is also available in portable form.
