Microsoft has just started a pilot program to bring an ad-free version of Bing in select schools across the United States, so the company used this occasion to take on Google once again as part of its Scroogled campaign.

Microsoft is now making fun of the way Google displays ads on its search engine, claiming that its own Bing service is a much better choice for every school and student out there.

“When students use Google for searches in school, they are shown ads that can distract from their studies. Bing for School removes all ads from searches on the school’s network, adds strict filters to help prevent adult content, and enhances privacy protections,” the company explained in a brief statement.

At the same time, Microsoft has published the results of a study conduct by Gfk Roper, revealing that 79 percent of the parents of K-12 students who search the web believe schools should have the choice of making search in the classroom ad-free.
