Redmond has finally confirmed that it would attend the next edition of CES in Las Vegas, but it turns out that the company isn’t actually planning to showcase too many products.

In fact, Microsoft this time seems to be focusing on meeting rooms, as the company wants to give journalists the occasion to talk to its key executives and thus repair its image a little bit with the help of media in the United States and overseas.

"We remain good partners with CEA, and as we did last year [January 2013] have reserved a substantial set of rooms for meetings with partners," a company spokesperson told The Verge.

The tech giant has also attended CES 2013, but instead of taking more floor space, the company held several private meetings with press representatives to give them early access to the Surface Pro tablet that launched in February.
