When they’re not busy talking big about the Surface RT, Microsoft employees are trying to do all sort of things with the device, some of which take way too much time.

In its latest project involving the Surface, Microsoft Germany has created what could be the biggest digital piano in the world using only Surface RT tablets.

According to the video you see here, the company used a total of 88 tablets, each of which represented a single piano key.

The first song they’re playing is not at all impressive, but with a bit more imagination, some people could actually create a song that’s a lot catchier than that.

And if you’re looking for a really awesome tune, you may want to have a look at this old YouTube clip that pretty much serves as the living proof that a mix of iPhones and lots of talent could lead to something that actually sounds good.
