The company is again trying to boost sales of its first-ever tablets

Microsoft is going to launch a brand new promo for Surface RT tablets, as the company is trying not only to boost sales, but also to clear out inventories before the arrival of the second generation.

According to a report by The Verge, the software maker is planning to cut the price of its tablets by $150 (€115), making the RT a much more appealing device.

Microsoft is yet to confirm the campaign, but Staples, a key company partner in the United States, has already launched promotional ads to advertise the new offer.
