Microsoft and Gameloft have recently announced a brand new agreement that will bring a total of 15 games on Windows 8 over the next 12 months.

The release cycle will begin this fall with “Asphalt 8: Airborne” and “Dungeon Hunter 4,” and will continue in the next months with more exciting games, such as “Despicable Me: Minion Rush,” “Total Conquest,” “Six Guns” and “UNO & Friends.”

“We’re thrilled to work with a gaming industry leader such as Gameloft to deliver top casual and core titles to our customers this holiday,” said Steve Guggenheimer, corporate vice president of Developer and Platform Evangelism, Microsoft.

“We strive to make Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 the best platform for gaming. With top gaming companies such as Gameloft investing in the platform, it is evident that there is no better time for game developers and gamers alike to choose Windows.”

What’s more, Microsoft and Gameloft have promised to continue their partnership in 2014, with “an impressive lineup of games” to be announced at a later date.
