Microsoft has just launched Hexic, a brand new puzzle game, on Windows 8.1, thus providing the adopters of its modern OS with even more options when it comes to entertainment software.

The swipe-and-match gameplay is available free of charge on both Windows 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1 devices, bringing a total of 100 levels, plenty of boosts and assists to clear challenges easier, and leaderboards to compete with friends who are also playing the game.

Spin and swipe your way through 100 levels of challenging puzzles as you battle encryption cells, corruption clusters, mysterious dark fragments, and viral vectors,” the game description reads.
