Microsoft is not all about software these days, and living proof is this new mouse and keyboard bundle that has been officially released today and will go on sale very soon.

The new Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Desktop keyboard and mouse come with Bluetooth 4.0 support, so they’re going to work on your computer without the need for any wires. You’ll need AA batteries to power both, but that shouldn’t really be a problem because they all last for several months minimum.

What’s more important is that the keyboard can be used with pretty much any device that has Bluetooth support, so it can be paired with a smartphone, a tablet, or a traditional PC. Since Windows 10 for phones will come with Bluetooth keyboard support, this is pretty much the best way to make sure that you remain productive even if a PC is not around.

“It’s got a full-sized keyboard with a built-in number pad and a comfortable mouse that uses BlueTrack Technology for accurate tracking on almost any surface,” Microsoft says in the official description of the keyboard to prove its productivity.

The two devices aren’t available right now, but they’ll be very soon because both will go on sale in March and May, respectively. The keyboard will be up for grabs in the US in about two months for $99.95 (€75), while the mouse will go on sale this month for $29.95 (€22).
