Microsoft has recently rolled out a video to showcase the capabilities of the new Surface Pro 3 tablet and the digital pen that comes with the device, thus trying to make everyone aware that this new model really has what it takes to replace your laptop.

The digital pen is fully integrated with OneNote, so it should be really easy to take notes and draw something on the tablet when using Microsoft’s very own note-taking app.

“Surface Pro 3 has an amazing writing and drawing experience. Utilize the Surface Pen to capture all of your ideas into OneNote. The tablet that can replace your laptop,” the app description reads.

The Surface Pro 3 is the biggest tablet model ever launched by Microsoft, coming with a 12-inch screen, up to 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage space.

Pricing is clearly the main setback of the device, as the top of the range model can be yours for about $1,949 (€1,450) in the United States. The tablet is already up for grabs in the US and Canada, so have a look at this video to make sure whether it has what it takes to replace your laptop and get things done faster with the digital pen.
