Redmond-based software giant Microsoft plans to continue its effort in Africa by launching a new program aimed at young IT experts in Ghana.

The new campaign aimed at Information Communication Technology (ICT) experts is specifically designed to assist young people in the country as they build up a career in the fields of technology.

Omari Tenkorang, head of Business Development of Microsoft Ghana, has said during an IT seminar in the country that Microsoft is willing to introduce local students to the company’s latest products, just to make sure they have at least as many chances as foreign workers to get a job in the IT industry.

“With this, they will not be tempted to travel outside Ghana to seek greener pastures elsewhere,” she was quoted as saying by Ghana Business News.
