Microsoft yesterday renamed the SkyDrive cloud-based storage service to OneDrive, so the company has also decided to update the available clients on all platforms.

The Windows version of the application has also received an update today to reflect the name change, which means that the program is now called OneDrive on your computer and not SkyDrive as it used to be until now.

Microsoft OneDrive 2013 Build 17.0.4029.0217 is now available for download, but in addition to the name modification, there are no other changes to the app.

Of course, the feature lineup remains basically unchanged, so you still get a System Tray icon to quickly sync files, launch the app at startup and quickly upload items to your account.

Overall, this is just an update that brings the app in line with the other already rebranded services, so download Microsoft OneDrive 2013 Build 17.0.4029.0217 for Windows right away.
