Microsoft unveiled the Surface Pro 3 on May 20 as part of a press conference in New York and sales officially started in mid-June, so the company has every reason in the world to aggressively market the device these days.

Redmond today released a new commercial to highlight the main capabilities of the Surface Pro 3, again reiterating that it has what it needs to successfully replace your laptop.

The Surface Pro 3 is a really powerful device that features fourth-generation Intel Core processors, starting with an i3 and ending with an i7, depending on the version you choose. There are several storage options, with the top of the line offering 512 GB of space, but also two different RAM models, namely 4 GB and 8 GB.

Pricing seems to be the only major issue of the Surface Pro 3, as the top-of-the-range model will set you back $1,949 (€1,450) in the United States.

Microsoft has already launched the Surface Pro in its home market and is getting ready to bring it in many other countries across the globe, so expect similar marketing efforts to be spotted very soon, as it clearly wants to make the new tablet model more successful than its predecessors.
