In addition to a new campaign aimed at students who wish to try out the new Office 365 for up to three months, Microsoft also launched a new advertisement supposed to showcase the seamless integration between Office 365 and SkyDrive.
Office 365 was officially released in late January and is playing a key role for Microsoft’s long-term strategy, as it can be used not only on the traditional desktop computer, but also on Macs and mobile devices.
Office 365 Home Premium is also available as a free trial for all users, but students living in the United States and owning a .edu email address can get up to three months for free if they share the offer on Facebook.
Of course, Microsoft would then use it to send promotional emails on a regular basis, but who cares when you really get three months of Office 365 University AND an extra 20GB of SkyDrive storage?
