The Surface 2 is thinner, lighter, and faster, Microsoft says

Microsoft started the Surface advertising campaign in October 2012 with a pretty awkward clip that was more focused on dancing and less on the actually features of the device.

It turns out that Microsoft has really learned from its mistakes, so a new video supposed to promote the second-generation tablet does show the key features of the device.

The new Surface is thinner, lighter, and faster than its predecessor, the company said, while also pointing to Office and the expanded list of accessories.

“The new Surface is thinner, lighter and much more than a tablet. With an available click-in keyboard and Microsoft Office, you can multi-task like a pro,” Microsoft said in a short video description published on YouTube.
