Windows 8.1 is almost here and Microsoft continues its typical advertising process with short clips supposed to present some of the key OS features in action.

This time, the company puts the focus on Movie Moments, the new Windows 8.1 app that’s available as a free download from the Store and letting you edit clips with just a few taps.

“Movie Moments is a simple app that helps tell the story of the interesting moment in your video. Within moments, trim the video, add short captions, and put in some music and now you'll have a short clip that you'll want to share!” the video description reads.

Windows 8.1 will be released on Friday and Windows 8 adopters will be allowed to download it for free from the Store. Movie Moments will be listed in the Store for 8.1 users exclusively.
