Cortana is Microsoft's biggest bet in the modern OS world, so the personal assistant is now available on Windows Phone and will soon arrive on PCs and tablets as well with the release of Windows 10.

But at the same time, the Redmond-based tech giant is continuously working to improve this feature by adding new options and settings which could help it become more personal.

One feature that Cortana relies on a lot is the reminder, which can help you keep track of the important things in your life by simply asking the personal assistant to take care of it.

In a video released today, Microsoft shows how Cortana on a Lumia 735 can help parents keep track of the things they need to remember when having a baby, as it gets to know your interests and habits and offers suggestions based on the collected data.

“Lumia with Cortana offers new parents (and anyone for that matter), a way to stay organized -a way to get more done in the day. Who doesn’t need a little more of that?” Microsoft says.

Cortana is currently available in just a limited number of countries - the US, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain - but Microsoft promised to add support for new ones in the coming updates, so expect more improvements in this regard in the next few months.
