Microsoft has just released a new version of the official SkyDrive client, the Windows application that allows users to access their files stored in the cloud.

There are no release notes for this new build, but the 17.0.2006.0314 version is now available for download from Microsoft’s website, so it most likely brings several bug fixes and performance improvements.

The update is available for all Windows versions, including 7 and 8, regardless of whether you’re running the x86 or the x64 version of these two operating system.

Keep in mind that Microsoft also released a Metro version of its SkyDrive app for Windows 8, but today’s update doesn’t include any changes for this particular build. We’ll update this article as soon as Microsoft releases the official changelog for the new version.
