Microsoft continues its efforts to expand internal presence, so the company is looking for potential partners that could help it bring software and hardware product into yet unexplored markets.

The tech giant has just joined forces with Myanmar Information Technology (MIT), the largest software vendor in Myanmar, to start selling its products locally.

“Microsoft's business is built on partners, understanding the nuances of conducting business in each and every market we invest in is critical. That is why we focus on building sustainable partnerships with local experts,” Jamie Harper, Microsoft's general manager of Southeast Asia, said.

At the same time, Microsoft goes on with its investment in key stores across the United States, while insiders point to even more retail locations coming in the near future, most likely on the Old Continent.
