Microsoft Sudoku is now available for download on Windows 8.1, bringing one of the most popular gameplay right in the Modern UI of Redmond's operating system.

Sudoku for Windows 8.1 brings pretty much everything you'd expect from such a game, including 5 classic game modes, multiple difficult levels, a fully touch-optimized interface and support for keyboards, mice, and tablets.

“Microsoft Sudoku is the classic game you love, with a modern look and feel and exciting new features. With five difficulty levels, fresh daily challenges, achievements and leaderboards, Microsoft Sudoku provides hundreds of brain training puzzles for players of all ages,” the app description reads.

At the same time, it also comes with Xbox support for daily achievements, leaderboards, and cloud compatibility, which means that your scores can be saved in the cloud to access them on a different device. Hints are also available just in case you find the game too hard and you need a helping hand to solve one of the puzzles.

Of course, the game is offered free of charge and works on x86, x64, and ARM versions of Windows 8.1.

Overall, this is clearly one of the best additions to your own game arsenal for Windows 8.1, so download Microsoft Sudoku right now to see what it brings in the Modern UI.
