Ever since the Surface Pro got to hit the shelves on February 9, users complained about the lack of stylus support for some very popular applications, such as Adobe’s Photoshop.

The two companies have finally released a beta version of a new driver that brings the eagerly-awaited stylus pressure sensitivity support in a number of apps, such as Photoshop, Corel and Illustrator.

Panos Panay, the man in charge with the Surface division at Microsoft, has also confirmed the availability of the new driver, but said the final version would only be released in the next couple of weeks.

Given the fact that this month’s Patch Tuesday cycle will be happening next week, the company would most likely use this occasion to roll out the new driver and bring the improvements on all Surface Pro tablets.
