Devices running Denim are getting a new version

Microsoft has rolled out a new version of the Lumia Camera app for Windows Phone today, and although the company hasn't provided a change log for this new release, it appears that it has actually fixed one of the bugs that allowed users to run it on non-updated devices.

First of all, Lumia Camera is the new version of the Nokia Camera app that works exclusively on devices running Denim, and since not all phones have received the new firmware version, the program is only available on a limited number of smartphones.

On Lumia 830, for example, which is actually a model that comes with Lumia Denim installed from the get-go, users who didn't want to deploy the latest patches could launch the Lumia Camera app by passing a warning displayed on the first screen by simply pressing the back button twice.

It turns out that this new version of Lumia Camera actually addresses this bug, so Lumia 830 owners who still want to use this app have no other option than to deploy the latest updates for their devices. Or avoid installing the new Lumia Camera version, of course.

Needless to say, Microsoft hopes that everyone would get this build because it's said to be the most stable and reliable version so far, so go ahead and download Lumia Camera right now to see what it brings new.
