14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has released a brand new update for Xbox Music, bringing not only lots of improvements, but also dropping the Preview tag of the application.
While this could be another indication that Windows 8.1 RTM is just around the corner, it’s also a sign that Microsoft wants to make all apps look good on its next Windows release, as the company continues to bet big on Modern apps.
Xbox Music has received an always-visible playback control bar, plus better support for the new 50:50 snap view mode integrated into Windows 8.1.
At the same time, the tech giant has implemented several performance improvements and bug fixes, while also offering dedicated options to manage folders in the Music library directly from the app.
