Microsoft has released an update for the official website of OneNote, trying to make it more reliable and easy to use from any browser.

As LiveSide points out, OneNote.com now displays all notebooks in a single interface, including shared items, while the old interface required logged-in users to browse through their folders to access the created files.

Just like the aforementioned source notes, this could be part of a broader rebranding process that might include an important renaming process of Office Web Apps to Office Online, a decision supposed to simplify the entire experience and make it easier for users to access productivity apps.

Microsoft hasn’t yet announced the Office Online rollout, but such a move pretty much makes sense, especially after the company rebranded SkyDrive to OneDrive to settle a trademark dispute in the United Kingdom.
