Windows 8.1 has received plenty of updates this morning, so the Windows Store live tile now displays more information, including new and top apps.

This particular change has been in the works for a while, but Microsoft has apparently kept it secret until now, although it’s pretty clear that it comes in very handy for all those addicted to the Modern UI.

As you can see in the screenshot above, the Windows Store live tile now tells user about the brand new Facebook app that was officially released this morning and brings support for both desktops and tablets.

In case you’re wondering, the modification is only available on Windows 8.1, so if you wish to get the brand new live tile as well as lots of other improvements, you have no other option than to move to Microsoft’s new OS version.
