Microsoft has just released a brand new version of the Sports app available on Windows 8 platforms, providing adopters of the company’s new OS with several improvements and bug fixes.

As usual, the new build is being delivered as we speak through the integrated Windows Store, so simply launch this built-in Windows 8 tool and check out the updates section.

Unfortunately, the company hasn’t provided us with any details on the new version this time, so it most likely focused on fixing bugs and addressing performance issues on both Windows 8 and Windows RT.

“The Sports app, powered by Bing, makes it easy for you to keep up with all the sports and teams you care about. Designed for Windows, the Sports app puts control at your fingertips. Swipe through the app to get an overview of the top headlines, scores, schedules, standings, statistics, and much more across all major sports,” the app description now states.
